Sleeping Arrangements: The house sleeps 11. Each bedroom has extra blankets and pillows in their respective closets. The large sofa in the media/entertainment room and living room are great for extra sleeping as well. Please leave any used sheets/pillow cases in the laundry room and return everything else to its original location upon check out.
Linens, Towels and Sundries: Beach towels are located in the downstairs sand room/bathroom.Towels for showering are in each bathroom. Remove all sand from towels and clothes before washing. Please wash the white towels separately. You may help yourself to any additionally stocked sundry items in their respected bathrooms.
Kitchen: The kitchen is very well stocked; there is ample dishware and glassware. There is also a coffeemaker and toaster located on the kitchen counter tops for your enjoyment.
The Beach and Beach Toys: Rincon is known for its world-class surf break and amazing beaches. There are a plethora of beach toys and boards for all ages to enjoy located in the double door closet just off the left side patio. Surf’s up!
Trash: Trash bins are located in the wooden fenced area on your left upon entering the driveway;trash and recycling cans are labeled. Trash pick-up is every Thursday with recycling every other Thursday. When you leave, please do not leave any trash inside the home or on the ground around the bins.
Parking: Please park in the main driveway of the home, there is enough parking for 3 cars, side-by-side.
Laundry Room: The laundry room is located through the entertainment room, which is the first door on your left upon entry of this beautiful beachfront home. Once in the laundry room there is an additional door allowing you to access the patio. Laundry detergent is not provided, but feel free to use any that is available. After using the washing machine, please leave the door open to prevent moisture collection.
BBQ and Patio Area: There is a gas BBQ on premises located in the closet on the left side patio just off the laundry room door. Please be sure to turn off the propane tank when you leave, cover the BBQ and place it back in the closet off the side patio. The nearest gas station for propane is the Arco Station; located at 1116 Casitas Pass Road, open 24 hours/7 days a week. (805) 684-3503. The cushions for the chaise lounges and chairs around the table on the patio are located in the sand room. Please place them back as part of the checkout process to help protect them from the elements. Please use the outdoor shower on the side patio just off the sand room before reentering the home after enjoying the beach.
Cleaning Supplies: There are some cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink. Extra rags are located in the entry hall closet across from the sand room. There is also a mop, brooms, vacuum, and an iron in the downstairs closet just off the stairs.
Emergencies/Issues: Please contact the office at (805) 969-1122 for any issues related to your stay. There is a fire extinguisher located in the main upstairs hallway. If you need medical assistance dial 911 from your mobile phone or contact the Carpinteria Police department at (805) 684-4561.
Heating and Cooling: The easiest way to cool the house is open the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze while the home does not have an A/C unit. There is a lovely gas fireplace located in the living room for your enjoyment with amazing ocean views throughout. The thermostat for heating the home is located on your right as you reach the top of the stairs.
Technology and Entertainment: The home features a wonderful flat-screen Samsung television equipped with COX cable, BOSE surround sound and a BLU Ray DVD player. For additional fun with friends and family please enjoy the abundance of board games stacked on the shelving to the left upon entry and in the wooden chest in the center of the room.
· To turn the COX cable box on press the circular CABLE button located at the top of the COX cable remote and press power. (a green light will flash on the cable box immediately)
· Next, power on the Television by press the circular TV button located at the top of the COX cable remote and press power. To change the TV input make sure you have selected TV at the top of the remote and press the input button until you are on HDMI 1 for cable.
· The BLU ray player must be turned on manually by pressing the power button on the unit. To watch DVD’s change the TV input to HDMI 2/DVI following the same instructions mentioned above.
